MENTAL HEALTH CHECK-IN

Hey loves! It is time for a mental health check in. How are you holding up in during the pandemic? I know we are tired of hearing about COVID-19 and hoping that it will be over soon. The truth is that it is still very rampant. Remember, to wear your mask and are cognizant of the people you are around and the things that you touch. Do not forget to follow the CDC guidelines on ways to help stop the spread of the Corona Virus.

Ok, let’s talk about somethings that you are doing to keep your mind off of the pandemic or how you are taking advantage of the time and closeness that the pandemic has allowed us to have with our spouses, partners, significant others, family members and learning more about ourselves . What are you doing to take care of your mental and emotional health? Here are a list of things that can help:

  • Exercise
  • Sleep/Rest
  • Reading
  • Eating well
  • Pray/Meditate
  • Deep breathing
  • Have fun
  • Take breaks
  • Relax
  • Create a Work and home balance.
  • Take time for yourself.
  • Take it easy. Be kind to yourself.

What are you doing to make today better than yesterday? Are you changing the way you think? Are you putting your wants and your needs first? Are you trusting God more? Are you surrounding yourself with positive people who encourage you and motivate you to do better? Are you decluttering your life in any kind of way? Are you deciding to forgive yourself? Are you deciding to finally forgive that person that hurt you? Are you going to decide to listen today instead of having a quick response? Are you keeping your promises to yourself? Are you in agreement with yourself to live in the present and not the past? What/Who are you letting go of today? Are you starting that business today? Are you investing in yourself today? Are you heading in the right direction towards your purpose? Questions I have to ask myself as well. Tell me what are you doing? I want to know! Remember, there is always room for improvement.

Please share your thoughts and comments below. Remember, we are in this together. Let’s clear out all of the things, people, negative thoughts, relationships, friendships, harbored emotions, pictures, emails, text messages, voicemails, phone numbers, stop looking at (checking) those social media accounts (you know what I’m talking about, don’t you?), that are hindering us from moving forward and becoming the person that God wants us to be.

Let’s start with today praying and asking God to align our minds and our hearts to his will for our lives. Let’s commit and dedicate time to taking care of ourselves mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We are striving to be BETTER, WHOLE and HEALED. Something that I try to do everyday is read my You Version Bible app. I have Bible plans with devotionals that I chose to help me with the things that I am struggling with, so that I can purpose and continue to live my life ZOETIC AND REVAMPED (alive and improved). If I fall off one day the next day I try harder.

Since later is just around the corner, Today, RIGHT NOW is the PERFECT TIME to Begin.
